I'm Gonna Be the Boss Today

I'm going for a challenge
So throw the hurt my way
Kick me down
and Toss me around
I'm ready for it today
Bring it on
like Donkey Kong
Give it all your might
because I'm ready to fight
hit me into the ground
and knock me around
i promise i wont feel pain
you say I'm weak
well bring me the heat
ill take this challenge today
I'm ready for your fists
don't break your wrists
i promise your gonna pay
I'm ready for a challenge
so throw it all my way
give me a show
ill let you know
I'm gonna be your boss today.

The Pieces

i am starting to fall a part and i need some one to help pick up the pieces,
i am just standing here waiting for something to happen,
i am waiting for the worst and the best,

i am wasting away into the creases,
i am no longer open,
i am closed to all who come before me and i can't seem to rest,

i am starting to fall a part and i need some one to help pick up the pieces,
i am scared and confused,
i am no longer strong and sturdy, my foundation is crumbling,

i am what now ceases,
i am what i not want to be, but am something used,
i am just fumbling,

i am starting to fall a part and i need some one to help pick up the pieces.

Recreations

Recreations are an important part of people’s life. For example, after hours of attentive study, students feel like having a football game to relax their nerves. Workers, too, find it very satisfying to sit in front of a TV set for an hour or two when they come back from a day’s tiring work. Besides, recreations serve as a pleasing way for the retired people to pass their excessive time. Everywhere you go, you will find that during their spare time, people are engaged in recreational activities of one kind or another.
Generally speaking, there are two kinds of recreations: physical activities and intellectual activities. Physical activities, on the one hand, keep one fit and develop team spirit. Basketball is a n example. On the other hand, intellectual activities such as playing chess and reading novels can train one’s brains and provide temporary escape from one’s troubles.
In my opinion, there should be a balance between the two forms of activities. This is because physical activities are necessary for good health while intellectual activities are beneficial to one’s mind. Therefore, in order to make his life enjoyable, one should go in for both kinds of pastimes.

My Favorite Sports

My Favorite Sports
I go in for a lot of sports in my spare time, among them are running, swimming and some ball games. Because of my heavy schedule, I can hardly go to play ball games very often. So most of the time I like going to swim with my friends.
Swimming is considered as one of the most popular sports in the world. Many people like it because it is not so exhausting as running or playing basketball. But it can make people cool, relaxed and comfortable, especially in summer. Swimming in the cool water, taking deep breath, people may have a sense of refreshing. Besides, it can also make people energetic by providing an opportunity for people to get enough exercise. The last but not the least is that it has become more and more popular with people of all ages. That’s why all kinds of people, both the old and the young, can be found in the swimming pool during the summer time.
There is no doubt that swimming is the best and most popular sport in summer. People can get entertainment and relaxation while they are in cool water. It makes people stronger, happier and more energetic.

Oil

Is the World too Dependent on Oil?
When we say the world is too dependent on oil, we are not exaggerating. One good starting point to prove this would be transportation. We know that cars, ships , locomotives and airplanes are all driven by oil. If the oil supply is cut off someday, the whole transportation system will be paralyzed.
Since the transportation system is the lifeline of a country’s economic activities, its paralysis would lead to the collapse of the economy, either industry or farming or daylife.
Furthermore, it is risky to base our world solely on oil. This is because oil reserves are diminishing. Besides , the supply is sometimes affected by political interests. For example, a few years age, when OPEC countries refused to export their oil, many other countries were thrown into chaos. Had the latter been less dependent on oil, the situation might have been completely different. It is certainly not nonsense to say that a world without oil would be a world without peace.
That is why we say the world is too dependent on oil.
