Work Description

-Ensure all CI related activities comply with safety, environmental and Customers’ requirements.-Involved innorth face jackets planning and executing CI training to build capabilities of associates for sustainable Continuous Improvement culture in the Plant.-Plan, organize and monitor all activities relating to quality assurance to maintain quality standards and systems to meet customer requirements.-Support and work with other Regional HQ (China, Korea, APAC).-Oversee and approve First Article inspection procedures prior to sample submission to customers.-Issue material certificate to meet customer requirements. -Liaise with customers on matters related to quality.-Conduct/co-ordinate Material Review procedures to implement any Corrective/Preventive Action; and follow-up for a closure with result of satisfactory action taken.-Control and manage the Equipment Calibration System; setting the frequency of each calibration.-Report quality performance and critical discrepancy issues to GM.-Propose to General Manager an indicative rate of annual salary-increment and annual bonus of subordinates reflected through the past year performance. -Approve the application of various type of Leave of subordinates and petty-cash paid to subordinates. -Recruit and upgrade subordinates with relevant training programs and pursue practical experiences.-Train subordinates in Sampling and Inspection techniques. ST is also number one in camera modules for mobile phones, as well as in the application segments of Automotive, Industrial, and Wireless.Furthermore, ST was the 3rd biggest semiconductor supplier in China in 2005-Transferred wafer technologies (5 automotive IC devices) from France to Singapore. (Including recipe, parameter, benchmarking result, golden lot..) within 6 months;-Planned and Transferred all the hardware from France and Italy to Singapore with the schedule and budget ;-Setup the new factory in Singapore by 3 months, and its product output is 600 wafers per day (Phase one);-Facilitate and engage new plant associates on the use of CI mythologies/tools such as value stream maps, lean blitzes, manufacturing 20 keys, lean daily management system and 6 - sigma cycle to reduce non-value add activities and process variance;-Achieved TS16949 certification; -Build up the 5S internal audit team;-Setup SPC control chart/limit for Diffusion process. -Start up a new microchip factory in Singapore.-Localizing material source, parts and equipment supplier from Europe to Singapore.-Define and control the characteristics of each part, affiliated with appropriate Inspection Plans; and make available the required facilities to verify these characteristics;-Approve disposal of non-conforming items;-Ensure all inspections are conducted correctly;-Responsible forspyder jackets
identifying, defining and establishing new Wafer process technology.-Drive for yield/process improvement.-Responsible for process setting up, benchmarking and fine-tune.-Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.-SPC, FMEA and 5S champion.
